Deep Blue Tech (DBT) - a wholly owned subsidiary of ASC - was established in 2007 to conduct research and develop concepts for Australia's SEA 1000 Future Submarine project.
DBT's mission is to be the designer for the entire lifecycle of Australia's future submarines and, towards this goal, DBT is comprised of four teams:
• Integration
• Combat and modelling and simulation
• Concept formulation
• Ship systems
